I, René Hüsgen, operate the website www.mairlynd.de and am committed to making it accessible to all users—regardless of physical or technical limitations. My goal is to ensure that this website is as accessible as possible, in accordance with the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and relevant technical standards.
This website is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), version 2.2, at conformance level AA. These guidelines help ensure that content is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for all users. mairlynd.de largely meets the current legal requirements (the BFSG currently mandates WCAG 2.1 AA compliance).

Current status: The website is mostly accessible. However, there are still some areas that do not fully meet the guidelines—I am continuously working on improving them.
Known Accessibility Limitations
Despite careful implementation, some parts of the website may still have accessibility issues:

Images: Most images include alternative text, but a few decorative or older graphics may still be missing alt text. I am working to fill these gaps and ensure all new content is properly tagged.

Keyboard navigation: The website is generally operable without a mouse. However, certain elements—such as image galleries or pop-ups—may not yet be fully optimized for keyboard use. Improvements are ongoing.

Easy Language & Sign Language: Currently, there are no versions of the content in Easy Language or Sign Language. Private providers like mairlynd.de are not legally required to offer these. However, I’m exploring how key information might be made available in simpler formats in the future.

Heading structure: Some pages may have inconsistent heading hierarchies—for example, skipped levels or unclear structure. This is being gradually reviewed and adjusted.

What to Do If Issues Remain Unresolved
I always aim to help quickly and easily. However, if you're not satisfied with my response or don't receive one within a reasonable timeframe, you can contact the relevant market surveillance authorities. From June 28, 2025, they are responsible for monitoring compliance with accessibility requirements for private providers in Germany. They may offer mediation or take corrective action.
Still, I encourage you to contact me directly first—in most cases, we can find a good solution together.
