A wonderful collaboration between Chad Lewis and me

You might be wondering what a Row Map is. A Row Map is a handy checklist that accompanies each row in a knitting pattern. It provides clear instructions, shows which row you're currently working on, what to do next, and which color to use. Just check off each row as you complete it, and the Row Map will guide you from start to finish—like a GPS!

Chad, a knitting instructor at a cancer center in Toronto, Canada, developed his first Row Map to make knitting easier for people facing the cognitive challenges of "chemo brain." When I saw this Row Map, I immediately recognized its value, and a new cancer awareness initiative was born.

The Row Maps are our gift to you. If you find them helpful, please consider making a donation to a cancer research organization that is meaningful to you. Below, you’ll find links to organizations that are important to us—maybe they will be to you as well?

We believe that with the help of a Row Map, anyone struggling with concentration can confidently pick up their needles and continue knitting with ease.

Thank you in advance, and we’re excited to include you in this wonderful initiative.

Happy knitting!
