Nixe - SHAWL - Knitting Pattern

Nixe includes a free Row Map, which makes knitting easier for patients undergoing chemotherapy and others who have difficulty concentrating. You can find more information about my Row Maps on the info page.

Nixe – this seems like the perfect name for a shawl where the simple, repetitive pattern evokes the sunlit scales of mermaids playing just beneath the sea's surface.

I particularly love the two new Pascuali Balayage colors introduced with this shawl: a soft, creamy white and a hand-dyed turquoise sprinkled with jewel tones.

Note: Both colors have almost been completely used up. You can add repeats if you have more yarn left, or you can leave out some if you run out. This pattern is very easy to adapt to your given yardage. (For example in Section 2 and 3: Stop after any WS row in color A.)
