The clever mosaic stitch looks impressively intricate but is actually surprisingly easy to knit – perfect for relaxing knitting moments on the couch.

For this project, you’ll be working with something truly special: Hamelton Tweed 1 by BC Garn – an exceptionally soft tweed yarn with a subtle sheen and a charming, slightly textured twist. Thanks to the addition of viscose, it's softer than traditional tweed wool, yet still holds its shape beautifully – making it ideal for shawls you'll want to reach for again and again.

And the best part: the wool comes from mulesing-free farms in South America, and the yarn is spun and dyed in Turkey.

Can I knit the pattern from a kit with a different yarn?
Yes – each kit comes with the yarn I recommend for the design, but you can absolutely use alternatives as long as they match the given gauge.

No worries – you can order more yarn from my shop as long as it’s still in stock. Just send me a message if you’re unsure which color you had.
