A little shawl with lots of lace

Some knitting projects don't need to be big to be lots of fun. Cherry Bloom is a small, airy lace shawl in a delicate shade of pink, growing quickly on your needles while keeping things interesting with plenty of beautiful details.

The lace pattern is playful and varied without being unnecessarily complicated. Row by row, a light and delicate shawl takes shape, the kind of project you can happily get lost in.

And Cherry Bloom is wonderfully flexible when it comes to yarn. You can use pretty much any yarn you like, and the gauge isn't critical either. Depending on your yarn, your shawl will simply turn out a little larger, smaller, airier, or more compact.

I knitted my Cherry Bloom in Miss Babs' Billow, a soft alpaca and cotton blend with beautiful loft and drape. But I'm curious to see which yarn you'll pull from your stash. 🌸
