As I was walking the streets of Berlin while teaching at the Berlin Knits Festival 2017, I couldn’t help but imagine this asymmetrical triangle shawl.
The basketweave mosaic section blends perfectly into garter stitch stripes, with a striking pattern combination reminiscent of Berlin’s cobbled pedestrian plazas and neat rows of buildings.
Knitting it with bold colors of Caravan by Crave Yarn (a yummy blend of merino, cashmere, camel and silk) makes it quite the eye-catcher!

Hallo Melanie,
ich möchte das Tuch „Midnight in Berlin“ nachstricken. Das angegeben Garn habe ich im Internet leider nicht in den gewünschten Farben gefunden.
Bei yarnculture.com gibt es zwar Crave Yarn Caravan DK, es hat aber nur eine Lauflänge von 100 g = 230 yds und nicht, wie im Buch angegeben 100g = 354 yds
Wieviel Garn benötige ich, um das Tuch mit dem oben erwähnten Garn zu stricken?
Oder hast Du für mich einen Vorschlag, welches Garn ich verwenden könnte.

The entire pattern is clearly written out and charted, so you should have no trouble following along. Go for it, and enjoy the process!
