Refund policy

A. Right of Withdrawal

Introduction

Consumers have a right of withdrawal under the following conditions, whereby a consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly not attributable to their commercial or independent professional activity:

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reasons.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the last goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (René Hüsgen, Mairlynd, Elisabeth-Enseling-Str. 44, 53121 Bonn, Germany, Tel.: 017664039797, Email: support@mairlynd.de) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear declaration (e.g., a letter sent by post or an email). You can use the attached sample withdrawal form, but it is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

 

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs arising from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day we received the notification of your withdrawal from this contract. For this refund, we will use the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless explicitly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you incur any fees for this refund. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must return the goods immediately and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day you inform us of the withdrawal from this contract.

The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period has expired.

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling that is not necessary for testing the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

Exclusion or Early Expiration of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not exist for contracts for the delivery of newspapers, magazines, or illustrated publications, except for subscription contracts.

General Information

1) Please avoid damage and contamination of the goods. Please return the goods in their original packaging along with all accessories and all packaging components. Use protective packaging if necessary. If you no longer have the original packaging, please ensure adequate protection against transport damage with suitable packaging.
2) Please do not return the goods to us freight collect.
3) Please note that the aforementioned points 1-2 are not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the right of withdrawal.
