addiCraSyTrio Short – the little revolution for knitting in the round

The original member of the entire CraSyTrio family: with the addiCraSyTrio Short, knitting socks becomes pure joy. This set includes three flexible needles, each with approx. 85 mm white-bronzed brass tips and a bendable cable that securely holds your stitches. No slipping, no fiddling – just relaxed knitting.

Each needle features one fine lace tip and one slightly rounder basic tip, letting you work beautifully with delicate yarns as well as slightly thicker wools – even on the smallest circumferences. With a total length of only 21 cm, this trio is especially loved by knitters with smaller hands and anyone who prefers short tips.

The system was developed together with Sylvie Rasch and has truly transformed knitting in the round for socks, sleeves, and baby garments.

How can I care for my addi cables?
To keep your cables soft and flexible, soak them in warm steam from time to time and stretch them gently. Dry them well afterwards – they’ll feel just like new!

What’s the best way to clean metal needles?
Simply polish them with a metal polishing cloth to bring back their shine.
Tip: If your metal needles feel a bit dull, rub a little baby powder onto them. It helps smooth them out again – and if your hands tend to get a bit sweaty, baby powder works wonders there, too!

How do I care for bamboo and wooden needles?
If your bamboo or wooden needles start to feel rough, rub them with a few drops of olive oil or coconut oil using a soft cloth.
Tip: If the tips have become blunt over time, you can carefully sand them a little and then oil them as described above. This will keep the wood beautifully smooth and well cared for.
