This pattern is part of the Knit for the Girls 2026 Exclusive Collection, created for the annual KFTG breast cancer research fundraiser. During October 2026, 20% of pattern sales from the entire collection will be donated to the official North American KFTG fundraiser, supporting breast cancer research.
Cherry Bloom is a small lace shawl in a soft shade of pink, light, delicate, and just the right size for some lovely lace knitting.
The lace pattern is playful without being overly complicated, growing row by row into a light and airy shawl. And the best part: Cherry Bloom is wonderfully flexible when it comes to yarn and gauge. You can use pretty much any yarn you like, from laceweight to fingering or beyond. A very precise gauge isn’t important here, your shawl will simply change a little in size and character depending on your yarn.
I knitted my Cherry Bloom in Miss Babs' Billow, a soft alpaca and cotton blend with beautiful loft and drape. It’s wonderfully light and lets the lace details shine.
The pattern includes:
• detailed written instructions
• lace charts
• a Row Map for checking off each row
The pattern is available in English and German.
Do you offer knitting patterns in multiple languages?
Yes! Most my knitting patterns are available in German and English – so you can choose the language you feel most comfortable with. Some patterns are even available in Spanish, French, Danish, or other languages. You’ll find this information in the product description. If a pattern is only available in English and not in German, you'll also find that in the description.
What skill levels are your patterns suitable for?
Many of my designs are beginner-friendly. You’ll always find the skill level listed in the product description, so you can pick the project that’s just right for you.
How will I receive my knitting pattern?
After your purchase, you’ll receive an email with a download link to get your PDF pattern.
Can I also get the pattern added to my Ravelry library after purchase?
Of course — no problem at all! Just send me a quick message with your Ravelry username, and I’ll be happy to add the pattern to your library.
Can I knit your patterns with different yarn?
Yes – each pattern includes my recommended yarn that works perfectly with the design, but you can use alternatives as long as they match the given gauge.
Do you offer help if I get stuck on a pattern?
Absolutely! You can contact me anytime via the contact form – I’m happy to help. There’s also a Ravelry group where you can get support from me and other knitters.
How can I stay updated on new knitting patterns?

Can I buy finished knitwear based on your patterns?
Currently, I only offer knitting patterns, not finished knitwear. If you’re interested in custom orders, please reach out for special requests.
Can I get a refund for a pattern after purchase?
As digital products, refunds are not possible after download. If you have any issues with an order, please contact me.
Can I use your patterns for commercial purposes?
The patterns are intended for personal use only. If you’d like to commercially sell finished items based on my patterns, please contact me for licensing agreements.

I started knitting the Cherry Blossom Shawl and got addicted to it right away. Was able to finish it pretty quick (had some extra free time on my hands), the instructions are easy to follow and since it is a shawl you can me it using pretty much any kind of yarn and needles. This was a very first time I used a pattern with a row map, took me a moment to get used to it especially in the beginning rows when there were very few stitched on the needles, but I think it is a very nice addition to the pattern. I love everything about it I just need to block it to unveil the hidden beauty of the shawl. <3

Die Strickanleitung ist nichts zum mal so schnell ein Tuch stricken, jede Reihe,ob hin,oder Rück ist anders , man muß sich immer konzentrieren, was völlig o.K. ist, die vorgeschlagene Wolle ist teuer und nicht in Deutschland bestellbar, was ich als Manko ansehe, natürlich schreibst Du man könne jedes andere Garn nehmen, was ich dann auch gemacht habe.
